1. Anglican High School (AHS)

Anglican High School is one of the oldest secondary schools in Grenada. This secondary school began around 1916 as Church of England High School, (CEHS) with a group of 19 students and 3 staff.

The secondary school is famous for the major quote” every student is expected to take her academic studies seriously at all times;’ and ‘every student should regard herself as a citizen of the Anglican High School Community, who live together, pooling and sharing their qualities of mind and character to utilize and develop the resources of their common habitation for the good of all.’

Grenville Secondary School is a co-educational institution located in Grenville, St. Andrews parish, Grenada and its one of the oldest secondary schools in Grenada.

Founded in 1983, it has a student population of 400 to 500 students and a teaching staff of over 20. The school's motto is 'Together We Build in Love'.

At Grenville (Secondary) Schools students are trained to organize themselves and their work. Academic life at Grenville Schools begins at the entry point with diagnostic tests in English Language, Mathematics and Science.

These tests are organized, not only to determine the current ability of the students but to also identify areas of weakness, which will later be addressed upon resumption for academics in the school.

5. Grenada Boys' Secondary School

Grenada Boys' Secondary School is another well-known Grenada secondary school.

Officially named the St. George's Grammar School, it first began on February 2, 1885, with ten male pupils at Mrs Grey's premises on Hospital Street (now the First Caribbean International Bank on Church Street) in St. George's.

The GBSS has traditionally been a boys' school, however, girls have attended in the past, particularly during the sixth form (A-level) years.

From 1982 to 1987, under the tenure of the People's Revolutionary Government, girls were accepted to Form I, but by 1991, they had been phased out.

There are 835 male students enrolled in the institution. A Principal, 50 Teachers, and two Counselors make up the faculty.
