Earth School Africa (ESA) is a non-profit organization based in Kigali, Rwanda that
provides free education for children between the ages of 2 and 18 who have been
affected by HIV/AIDS or orphaned due to AIDS.
Its
mission is to provide these children with a holistic educational experience,
using the internationally recognized Montessori method. In its first nine
years, ESA's programs have reached over 200 children, including many orphans

SPIS was founded in 1996 by the Sisters of St. Paul de Chartres. The school

10). École Belge de Kigali
Different
from most internastional schools in Rwanda, École Belge de Kigali offers
curriculum defined by the Federation Wallonie-Bruxelles of Belgium. École Belge
de Kigali offers kindergarten, elementary school and secondary school.
The
language of instruction is mainly French.
All elements of the curriculum are taught in French, according to a decision by the Rwandan Education Board (REB). Both English and Kinyarwanda are taught beginning in the third kindergarten year.
